And even the chrome bumpers look right at home! That is one cool looking rig. So did you use the mog transmission and transfer case? I'm curious to find out what you did about the driveshaft/differential issue that the mog axles create. Keep up the work...:)

basically I put a pig on a mog and not portals on a pig...if you see what i mean.

That way there was no issue on the drive shaft/ diff issue...it is all catered for by the UNIMOG chassis. the issues are mating the input shaft to a 2F clutch and flywheel assembly.

As the unimog has a 114" wheel base you can see we chopped chunks out of the wheel arch....plus 44" is pretty big.

took it out in the mud over christmas break....some fun!!!

put the doors back in too - looks cool with the original body lines as well.

Nice pig. The center of gravity is probably still relatively low with the weight of the 'mog drive train.

Isn't the 'mog chassis designed to flex with the cab and bed moving independently? Did your cage take this flex out?

fortunately its not a very "good" cage :hhmm: - as in its welded up to some heavy plate on the floor of the body and does not extend to the chassis... i figured at a low speed roll over i am ok... anyhow the flex isnt affected by the cage thats in there.

Have seen mogs with some serious pipe work all over though... so will look out for how she plays and tell you more.

think your right about the COG...she is quite stable...also cos of the width... though when you at 7 feet even a 22 degree pitch is scary!!!
