Where did you get them...

The maps? It's a free app in the app store called "Topo Maps". You can download any North American maps you want for offline (no cell coverage) viewing.

The GPS still works when you don't have cell coverage too.
 
How is the ipad for being in your line of vision? Does it interfere much? My mount is much lower.

The only thing it blocks is my view of the hood, so no big deal. It's a great location for actually wheeling, but for the other 90% of the time it's a bit ridiculous looking. But it's a suction cup, so I can easily take it off when I'm not using it.

I looked at the seat-bolt-mount ones, where a giant gooseneck comes up from the passenger seat floor... but all the reviews said it vibrated too much. With my suction mount, I can have the cradle resting against the dash to stop the vibrations.
