Only tires, sliders and floor mats for now...the rest will be spaced out much further than they were on my FJC and the FJ60...or that is the plan and what I promised my wife. :D :D

YOU LIE!

then should take me 50 minutes with beer :D

97 if I come down to help with a jar of the juice...

Congrats! Welcome to the "seat heaters" side of wheelin'. We can stay up drinkin' when the others who have rigs that kick their *** have to go to sleep.

I though you were keeping the 60 forever.

Took off running boards this morning before the heat and humidity were too bad...still sweated like a pig.

Put on the new tires and floor mats...sliders arrive Monday and will go on and then will relax a bit and just enjoy driving her.

Nitto Trail Grapplers 285x65x18....5 of them and VERY QUIET even more so than KM2 for a mud terrain.

Need to clean all the dirt and grime that built up under running boards but other than that they are great...no rubbing, good ride...all balanced out to 0grams except one that was at .25. Quiet...maybe almost as quiet as the Terra Grapplers I had on FJC.:steer:

Nice! Is that the highest AHC mode in the pics? Are you going to use the slee mod to run it in high all the time?

No that is NORMAL setting....going to leave like it is as they dont rub at all in normal mode and when in 4Lo it raises to HIGH automatically so I dont anticipate a problem.

Did you get those mats in? I'd be interested in some mat info, prices, and pics. It's on the top of my list for my new (to me) hundy.

I knew the search Nazis would get me. My sincerest apologies, NMuzj100.

Thanks for answering my question, Brock.

Put on Slee sliders for LX model tonight.

Question Though: When installing on LX...I have to slide brackets under brake lines and AHC lines. Is there a need to put a sheath of rubber or something between U-bolts and hard lines to keep them from wearing through. I remember on FJC we had to do that to keep bumper upgrades from rubbing through AC High Pressure line...it would bend a little but still had to protect it.
What did you guys do...as Slee did not mention this in directions. I did remove mounting bolts that hold plastic line clips to allow them to flex some.

Looks good Brock. i brought my 4 year old son by your house earlier today but you weren't there. He is OBSESSED with Land Cruisers and I told him a friend of mine bought a new one. He has demanded for me to take him to see it for the past 3 days.
i need to throw the booster seat in there and take him for a ride in it. He needs to get it out of his system.

Nice! I'll be passing through Charleston this week most likely. If I see you I'll honk :D

Drive near the strip club district. He hangs out there the most.

I used short lengths of split fuel pipe and zip tied them in place just to be sure.

Looks good and congrats on the new purchase(s)! Can you post pics of the sliders from down lower and underneath the LX?

This weekend the running boards come off my '99 and a set of 305/70-16 BFG M-T KM2s goes on in their place. The guy at the tire shop was like "...mud tires on a Lexus...nice!" Had to remind him it's really a Land Cruiser!

Have to agree with you that the AHC is a nice benefit of having a LX. Pulling into a garage? Just drop it into LOW and tuck the mirrors. You feel like a low rider, but hey it works!

Brock,

Sweet 100. Are you bringing that bad boy to Uwharrie next year? Your 60 made Dickie Bell look like a cake walk.

I like those tires, I am trying to decide between KM2s or ATs or the Trail Grapplers.

Did you sell the 60?

Andrew

Yes, the 100 will be going EVERYWHERE with me from now on...daily driver, Uwharrie, WNC, OBX, etc. Yeah, my pain threshold for repairs and money being spent was reached this past couple months. Even though the 60 had been in my family since it was bought new and I really wanted to keep it...logically I could not justify it given my daily needs and space in my driveway. So I sold it to a local club member with first dibs if he decides to sell in a couple years. So my project is starting over from scratch.

Yeah the 60 walked up it without spinning a tire or straining...which I was very impressed with given I was only locked in rear. I hope to put an ARB in rear of the 100 and a few other things but got to let my wallet fatten back up again.
