Welcome Matt!

As per your earlier question on the HITR board, CM05 is a registration event but I bet there are a few spots left (maybe?).

Our Sonic meets are monthly on a Fri night in Tempe (usually 3rd Friday?)

Hey Guys,

My name is Philip and I have a 70' fj40 that has been a long project. For the last two years it has been disabled while I fixed one problem after another. I got it going about a month before I left Tucson for an Internship in Washington DC. But I will be back in May and ready to do some serious fourwheeling.

I also have a 73' fj55 for parts if anyone needs anything just let me know.

See you in May!!!!!!!

Welcome Philip! Look forward to wheeling with you. I wish I had a PIG, someday I will find a 55 for sale when I actually have the $ to get it.

Welcome!
Were still here.
We have occasional lulls in posting here. It'll pick up. Especially after Cruise Moab.
And yes, we still meet every 3rd Fri.
We even go wheeling from time to time. Well, not me, but others do. :)

Jbird,
Your last name wouldn't be Leonard?

G'Day guys,

Finally time for an introduction I guess. My names Tim and I'm an Aussie transplant to Phoenix via Flagstaff ("Working on my NAU degree was the best 7 years of my life"). My wife is a 5th generation native Arizonian on one side and 4th on the other side. I have 3 kids (5, 3 and 1). I got into moderate rock crawling with an 1985 4runner (see for sale section) about 5 years ago but have not been wheelin’ in almost 12 months. I picked up an 1988 FJ62 last week – it is in OK condition but needs some TLC. I am very much a newbie mechanic so any tips or help I can get would be much appreciated. Let me know when the birfield repack party will be.

Cheers,

Tim

Tim, I'll be the first to welcome you and graciously hand over the title for longest NAU student. I was able to do it in 6 years. Hopefully you will be able to make it out next Friday to the cruise-in.

Brendan,

If it only took you six years to graduate I don't think you were really tryin' ;)

Welcome Tim,

What part of the State are you in?

Belated Introduction

Hello guys,
I have been lurking and posting for about 6 months as I have looked for a LC. I finally found something and am very excited to introduce myself. I am a geologist living in Tucson. I get paid to go wheeling. I have been needing something for awhile and decided on a cruiser about 7 months ago. I found a 1994 FZJ80 in Prescott with 109K. It is not perfect, a few dings and the leather seats are cracked, but it was mechanically clean and runs great. I wasn't looking for a mall cruiser. It doesn't have diff locks, the only down side. I wish it had them, but this was the best cruiser that I have seen where the seller didn't want what I consider an obscene amount of money. I can always add them later if my skills/desires require them. I have CSC application ready to be filled out (thanks BMAN) and hope to meet as many of you guys as I can.

My name is Terry, however I am a New Mexico resident. You folks sound like a lot of fun. I own a respectable 1975 FJ40. I would like to obtain one of your club stickers to show off, along with others that I have placed on my cruiser.
If there is a charge, no problem. my e-mail is tlburrow@aol.com
Thanks
Terry

Terry,
Club stickers are available for $4 each. If you go to our website and download the membership application. It has the Address for ordering. Unfortunately we haven't had a "LARGE" run of stickers yet so we don't have freebies on hand but if you're patient I'm sure we can come up with a couple in the coming weeks.

Greetings and salutations

My name is Gary and I Moved to Prescott AZ 4 1/2 years ago, I first saw this pig in very poor shape 3 yrs ago and loved it`s style and bought it soon after. I have done many muscle car resto`s but never a Landcruiser. I soon found out how hard it was to get parts for the pig but made do and I do not think I will get rid of, hopefully pass it on to my 1 1/2 daughter when she is old enough to handle it. I have done the body and paint, droped in a sbf 302 with a Marks adapter, still working on the interior. This is my daily driver and has been a very reliable vehicle. Still need to do a P/S and disc conversion to it, so if any of you have any parts let me know.... Prescott Pig
