I have a sound coming from the engine bay, starting towards the end of a long & hot road trip. At first I thought it might be a pulley bearing going out, but its more of a liquid swishing sound which seems to be coming from the AC compressor.
Its not constant, but only stops for a few seconds at a time at most, and varies in intensity. It still made the sound after parking it for the night, and I finished the last 60 miles of my trip. It did not make the sound immediately when I started and idle'd the truck today, but I haven't driven it around.
We used the AC for short while, hours prior to the sound starting. I haven't used my AC in years as I usually just put the windows down..
Any suggestions as to what the heck I am hearing? I can try to record the sound if that helps.
