This is starting to drive me bonkers. I'm in Oregon for what it's worth, may be moisture related? Here's what's happened:
- A few months back I went to fire up my 95 (260K miles, a bit of a beater but it's been reliable) for a grocery run and it would crank but wouldn't catch. Fiddled with it a bit, googled, put a new fusible link in, started right up.
- I drove it at least a couple times per week for a while with no issues.
- We had a wet cold snap that included ice and a lot of rain in mid-January. I went to take the cruiser to the gym when it thawed out and back to crank no start. I do have a CEL with the key turned to on FWIW. I went through the whole troubleshooting guide, spark and fuel were fine, but just didn't make any progress. After a few nights of trying things I started buying parts, picked up a new EFI relay and plug wire set. Went to install today, decided to crank it once for kicks before digging in and it fired right up.
