Very nice, but be careful with the lighting effects. Soon you will be putting them under the truck and be doing that low rider thing.

HERESY!!!!!! :ban: ;p

Pretty cool!

Years ago I got fed up with not being able to see anything in my cruiser at night, and when you remove the top there goes what little light you had. I drilled and tapped my roll bar on the bottom and put a "festoon" light assembly directly behind the headrests. I ran wire through the roll bar so none on the outside and put a latching pushbutton on the dash in a factory empty hole. It makes for a very nice lighting that does not blind you and is still there when the top is off.

I may have to try some of the replacement LED bulbs as these were not even available when I did this modification......now if I can just get my engine finished...uugghh

Wow, Sounds like a great Idea! Id love to see pictures of how it turned out!!!

Spinners on a cruiser

Ill need several  and a few :flamingo:'s before I ever want to SEE something like that!!!

I took a couple trailer/back up lights and zip tied to the roll bar in the middle and one in the back facing into the bed

put a toggle switch down on the seat mount so i can reach down with my left hand and flip it on or from the outside it is handy to just open the door and flip it without reaching way inside

finally having some inside light is a big help

thought of an led strip hidden under the edge under along the bed

not sure how the light would spread out from there though

i put a bunch of truck-lite model 33 lights in my 80 and will put them in the pig. the 40 and 45 are too oem to put something like that in (although i might do a magnet mount). the model 33 is awesome bright, now they have the super 33 which is even brighter. and they're tiny.

i'm a big fan of trucklite. made in u.s.a. great warranty. easy to work with. been around forever. i've had superbrite led bulbs and been disappointed. they're the harbor freight of lights

I velcro'd a Sylvania AAA LED puck light on each B-pillar of the 40 when my dome light switch exploded. Press on, press off. Not the best option but pretty good plus I can remove them and use them around the campsite. They work great to uplight a tree or the truck when placed on the ground.
