Hey Guys, I need help remembering who posted their fix of a worn out door latch. I just cut one off to fix and would like to see your's again. This seems to be an easy fix for a bad problem.

Some PO long ago removed the under-the-truck spare tire carrier. I decided to fab up an interior mount to hold the spare safely. I used some flat stock and some 1” square tube. A couple of J hooks and wing nuts and: Yeah, I know it would not impair my rear view as much if I had mounted it...

Thanks Rush! I'm not heat treating mine, but used a tad thicker metal for the replacement. This is an easy fix for a sloppy door latch.
