Here the ones (2 of each) I got that fit just perfect:So Im trying to order the globes from Impex. When I Put in the part number 2 options show up for the same part. A Toyota one and a Lexus one. There is a $20 price difference which adds up when you are buying all 4.
Should I just get the toyota ones for my LX? Is there a difference?
Thanks!
Amayama will NOT ship gloves to the US. I tried them before IMPEX (ordered 10/29 and still processing). Amayama is strict about the no pressurized shipping and sent a message that their supplier will not provide documentation for the import.Yes -- 'globes' are way past their best!! Vehicle is 2005 LX470? -- If so, and if this is the First Replacement, it is no surprise after 19 years.
Front LH & RH: 49141-60010 -- order two of these
Rear LH & RH: 49151-60010 -- order two of these

Figured I may save someone 2-4 days of dead time there by sharing.
Here is the response I received when trying to order them through Amayama. Maybe at one time they had the required paperwork, but now they don’t.Amayama will ship shock absorbers but must use FedEx for shipping.
Maybe have Amayama declare them as shock absorbers?
On another note… I just noticed that the Partsouq pricing for these suspension globes has more than tripled since I purchased mine in late 2022.
Impex pricing is still on point. Amayama is slightly higher, but it doesn’t do any good if they won’t ship them to you.
I ordered mine on 10/29 and still processing as well. Still waiting for the order to be filled so I can pay for the shipping. Hopefully any day now.Amayama will NOT ship gloves to the US. Nice! I see you're in DFW. I'm in Austin, guess we will see whose arrive first. Grabbed an 03 LX from a NJ auction, and the thing is pretty corroded underneath. My welder was doing some framework and nicked the front passenger AHC hard hose. Took at a look at my globes, and they are flaking off pretty badly. Figured if I'm replacing the hose, and bleeding the system that I may as well do this too.I ordered mine on 10/29 and still processing as well. I’ll let you know when I get mine. Nothing necessarily wrong with mine. Just 24 years old and feel like new ones would really improve the ride quality. I have a great mechanic here (ex Lexus master tech) who is charging me around $600 for labor including flushing and re-filling the fluid. He only uses OEM parts and fluids. Basically going to the dealership at half the price or less. I just don’t have the time, tools, and space to do major things myself.Nice! I see you're in DFW. Lexus quotes around $4k here to do this. So far I'm only out about $445 (before shipping) for the globes and new bleeder screws from Impex, and $100 for the AHC fluid from an out of state dealer. The fluid can be found much cheaper if you don't mind waiting a week. Lots of Toyota dealerships sell it for less than what my local one does, and the shipping is flat rate so it comes out under what I pay in town.
Changing the globes only requires enough space to lay next to the truck, a 27mm (?) wrench, a strap wrench, and a 10mm wrench to loosen the bleeders. You can do the whole job in an hour or less. I would say a 1/4 banana job. The fluid is about $100.I’ll let you know when I get mine. Nothing necessarily wrong with mine. Ford fan clutch wrench (36mm) is what I have in place of the strap wrench. Thin enough to get in there, and still turn the nut portion of the globe.Changing the globes only requires enough space to lay next to the truck, a 27mm (?) wrench, a strap wrench, and a 10mm wrench to loosen the bleeders. I’m sure you’re right, I was guesstimating.Ford fan clutch wrench (36mm) is what I have in place of the strap wrench. Thin enough to get in there, and still turn the nut portion of the globe.
My bleeder screws arrived at their warehouse yesterday. Just waiting on the globes.FYI , IMPEX screwed me over on a recent order (not globes)
I put in the order, waited, waited, and waited. Fianlly i reach out to ask what is going on , and they said the part is not available and I will be refunded.
I waited, waited, and waited soem more. No refund after several weeks. I finally reached out ( they hide their customer service contact very well) and I was told that I could only receive a partial refund because of "paypal commissions". So i am out over a month of waiting and $30+ because of no fault of my own.
At least i got some of my money back.
I won't do business w/ them again , extremely poor customer service

I had a similar issue with them. I ended up paying for PayPal fee for parts that they didn't have. That was the last order I had with them.FYI , IMPEX screwed me over on a recent order (not globes)
