I Have a 84 Toyota extra cab I have all high steer parts besides the mounting bracket is there anyway around buying the bracket off trail gear? I'm short on cash

Uh yeah... fab your own.

Take the box put some plate up to it, drill some holes, weld it to the fram. Done.

Places like Trail-Mart sell ready-to-go stuff like that to people that don't have the time/patience/skills/tools (take your pick) to make their own. The same is true with all the SAS kits out there now. Can you build your own, of course (I did).

If you have all the tools, time, patience, and skills, then make your own.

I have time and patience I gotta buy a few more things for my welder but not too sure how my skills are yet. But thanks for the ideas

Trail Gear is not the only game in town for cross-over bits. Marlin comes to mind.

I can fab my own stuff but sometimes it's not worth the time. The bracket is only $40 bucks and comes with $10 worth of grade 8 hardware and probably another $10 in plate and tube steel. I wouldn't spend 2 hours using up saw blades and grinding wheels making one for $20.

Just my 2 cents.

Daves off road is another good source for Toyota parts.

Also

Sky Manufacturing, Budbuilt, All Pro off road, Front Range Off Road.
