Pocket installed took 5 minutes. I didn't need to remove the console I could have just popped out the controls.

Now that you have had more time in the dirt, mud and snow, you still like those BFGs? Look like nice tire option.

This is a small tutorial on how to do the factory side step mod and removal.
1. First unplug the lights. It's one plug per step.
2.remove 6 bolts underneath.
3. Remove 1 plastic clip in the front fender well on each side.
4. Karate kick the step until it busts off onto the ground. (I had no plan of reusing my steps)

5. Put the step in your workbench. Clean the step off where it connected next to the front quarter panel.
6. Tape the step like this.

7. Use dremel and utility knife to cut off plastic piece. Take your time to make it look nice.
8. Replace the 2 clips in the back and snap on your newly created step cap.

Well my winch should be arriving any day. I had a great talk with bud of Budbuilt.com. I decided to get the 4th gen hidden winch mount and adapt it to my GX. 4Runner Hidden Winch Mount - BudBuilt - Tough Toyota Protection
He made a deal I couldn't refuse as long as I took plenty of pictures and/or video. I will of course have to cut a hole in my bumper to run the line through. There has been some talk that the front of the winch will have a gap between the inside of the front bumper and the line exit on the winch. I figure I will have to make some spacers for my fairlead. I might even weld on some D-Ring mounts that pop out of the bumper as well. It will be a work in progress.
1 little issue I might have is my wife is 38weeks prego!! So I'm hoping the winch and other goods gets here quick!

The driver side is pretty tight I probably need to take it off and grind it out a little bit but the passenger-side fits perfectly. I bought some Amazon special LED cree lights for 20$ I also bought a wiring harness on Amazon as well for 10$ that came with everything it was really easy to install with that premade wiring harness

Lol idk what it is about that particular style of light from amazon but every one I know has bought a set ... including me ... I have a set iv never even used ... I just bought some on impulse bc they were so cheap ... any time I buy something that is related to aux lights on amazon they are alway the suggested purchase below the description. .. ha ha
