I am a sick lover of the FJ55 affectionately called IRON PIGS....but I'm sure you already knew that!:D

I just wanted to start a thread that exclusively showcased the 55's and what mods you may have done. Maybe someone has done this already if so please provide a link. But to get things started here's mine.....

I have a 72 FJ55 w/ sbc 400, TH350 trans, 3spd x-fer, torq lock out, Chevy tilt SC, Saganaw P/S,4" susp lift, 35" muds, Front Disc brakes! oh and some bumper mods will be added too...

What front seats are those?

Here's mine. SBC 350, stock 4speed & tcase. later DB front axle. AAL's and 33" MT's.

Needed a lot of work to get it ready for the road and it's nearly there. Got it cheap and can't wait to be DRIVING it regularly.

Because I bought an FJ40 "built" and this 55 about the same time. At first I wanted to keep the 40 but I really liked the 55 but I had to sell one of them 4sure. Well I couldn't make up my mind so I put them both up for sale. The 40 sold the very next day after I put it up 4sale. So that solved that!

I really REALLY want to keep the 55 but I am getting alot of pressure on "the home front" to sell the 55 to pay off the ever looming "DEBT"! I hate credit cards:mad:! I am sad to say but my 55 is still 4sale but I am not trying very hard to sell it:grinpimp:!

It is just such a GREAT piggy!!! By far the best one I have ever had and I have had some where around 15 or 20!:pig::pig::pig:That's alot of Bacon! :cheers:

Now I would like your feed back on how I should paint the pig:).

I really like the stock color combo...color on top, white in the middle then color on bottom. But I also like white on top and the rest in color.

What's your opinion on this?????

Looks cool thanks...I am trying to figure out how I am going to build my front bumper. I want to do a stinger...anyone have any examples of a stinger bumper on a pig???:hillbilly:
 
i assume the stinger is just cause you like the looks, not much cause for one on the longer w/b of a pig. unless you dont mean a real stinger but more like an exxagerated hoop, like shortbus' sweet arse bumper in the link above.
