Is there someone out there that has some picturea of a relatively stock F engine in a pig? Some of the "parts" under the hood have been rearranged in mine and it's looking like my stock air cleaner assembly won't fit because of it.

Thanks!

Though I think both of these are 74.

Ha Ha!

No, I saw those when I did use the search function, but I couldn't really see the oil filter very well. I need a pic from straight on and somewhat above....like this one, but not of my goofy ass truck:

Note the oil filter sticking up to the right of the engine...right where the air cleaner needs to be.

Marshall...there is one buried in that thread I think I can use.

Although that oil filter doesn't seem to be in the same spot as the others Richard posted. Where is that thing supposed to go? Now I just have to figure out how to re-relocate the oil filter. :)

Thanks to both of you!

Oil filter goes right between the fuel pump and the dizzy...with a little aluminum mount between it and the block.

So I guess I need to hunt through all this stuff that was in the back of the pig and see if I have the mount. If not, then I guess I am going to need one. Thanks Pighead.

Ooops, that's right. You've got a '73...you're oil filter does bolt on to the intake manifold. My bad.

K9,

The configuration you have in the pic in post #5 is correct....no need to relocate your oil filter.

K9--

this would have to qualify as relatively stock, but here is mine (a 72) Granted that would not be the stock intake but you can see the filter below. BTW a blingin plastichrome intake for a 96 eclipse slips onto the carb perfect :D. let me know if you still need a shot of the filter and mounting bracketry. kinda sad to post this right after your engine bay shot...............

I think I figured it out. Thanks for the picture.

Yeah but your alt more than makes up for everything else.:D

No kidding, that's the reddest alternator I have ever seen! I think I want to paint mine to match!
