HZJ75 seats into a BJ73- will they fit? (1 Viewer)

I need a new drivers seat for my old BJ73. It has been repaired a few times and back support is pretty poor and the thing is quite uncomfortable. The roadworthiness test failed it and I don't think they will accept aftermarket seats. The only seats local to me are from an HJZ75 in good condition. Question is will they fit?

I don't think so, the floor is different on the -75 due to the fuel tank being under the seats. Maybe if you can swap the seat part without the floor mounts to the -73 floor mounts.

I wondered, the drivers seat doesn't look to have changed in style much over the years. Maybe the foam parts and fabric coverings interchangeable

see if you can remove the floor mounts from the rest of the seat, then you can swap.

I'm running Bundera 73 suspension seats in my hj75 less the suspension part all I had to do is use my runners.

The 3/4 seat runners on the passenger side where plug and play on the 73 left bucket seat
