When I am home at lunch I will check the auction data for a shot and price data
it was a diesel 100% first one I have ever seen

that would be the second one i saw...
but then i stopped shopping early this spring

The jdm thing as died
Unless your after something rare it's not really worth it
Even 77s won't fetch good profit mainly because the exchange along with retail
I would want one personally

the JDM rabid purchases have died.
the cost of the yen, the cost of the fuel surcharge, the cost of the shipping across canucksville and the insurance issues make it unsavory for most.
me, i am just too tied up in the troopie build, and the other builds that are sitting in the wings to care about importing ... maybe next summer i will get back into it.

Sold for 635,000
Flipping cheap if you ask me. A steal in my eyes

The truck could be made into something nice. Ideally this would be the truck for me.

I think down the road I will do a troopy for fun and will own a 75/79 at some point to accompany my 77

What's the next builds and projects after the troopy if you don't mind me asking

That truck is ugly and doesn't look up to toyotas quality built.

basically it is a HZJ77 body with the back cut off and the rear factory section installed...
hence my desire to take the PZJ78 and make a 4 door pick up out of it...

I agree. I dont think Toyota build those doors even if it does show up in their parts numbers. I reckon they buy them off an australian supplier like TL Engineering who have been doing dual cabs for 30 years.
The doors are very untoyotaish.

ummm, those are 77/78 series doors guys ...
so the 77 and 78 series are ugly to you?
:hhmm:
