Well? C'mon, man, I'm jonesing here!!!!! :flipoff2:

I promise.....today.

Up to my eyeballs with work and a two deadlines.

I must say the gray headlight bezels (Ccot specials) and grill look super pimp.....

Black mirrors are aftermarket units, so if you scratch them you will not see chrome.

i ran into the same problem when i installed my 5 speed. all i did was weld 2 pinion flanges together and that gave me about 4''. i don't have any vibrating problems either.

I just had the same problem with my crossmember, made a straight cut thru it, leaving the only the bottom plate in, then welded a piece of 1/4" channel iron in the cut. Strong as nails and the shaft is now clear.

Couple pics, few things to finish.

Kinda dig these Ccot grey grill and headlight bezels.

Interior and exhaust left, plus front windsheild and rear windown need installing.

All I can say is WOW~!

Do you have all the emblems, or do I need to get them to you? Also gotta have that fancy "G"

Ok question, is a 37"x12.5x17 spare tire going to fit on that carrier???

It doesnt look like it! RATS!

Thanks Rob.

Wow, I'm speechless....looks AWESOME! That's funny, the big bitch already leans to the passenger side, just like mine!

Tom, you might be able to make the 37" fit by inboarding the vertical portion of the carrier, that's what I'm doing to mine so I don't block the driver side rear lights.

I like the grey CCOT trim, looks good with white!

What's that above the rear vent, antenna mount?

The 37's look good, Tom, perfect fit!

Actually she's leaning to the darn drivers side. I'd prefer it lean to the pax side since I weight 210 pounds already!!!

Thanks. All the thanks go to Rob. He does excellent work.

The kid who works for me is super super talented and built this little suzuki including cutting down a set of Dana 44s.

Okay now for the tech, he is using a toyota power steering box.......

He is thinking on running a 2L like Tom.

absolutely... i cant find the right words either. man that looks sweet. Better still, having seen it in person, I KNOW it is sweet!!! Maybe inspiring is the word I was looking for. Just a quick note on the exhaust- Mine is routed out the back under the turn signal light on the Kaymar and it gets caked over in carbon pretty quickly. Not a big deal but it is kind of annoying.

congrats to both of you,

David

Rob, is that a real SJ-413K pickup? They only made and imported them in 1985. Very rare. Nice job that guy did.

Yep, with 2300KMs on it, was at a mill up here for most of its life.

question about exhaust....where are you routing it? I have a temporary/poor system right now but after i get th turbo i am going with a S/S permanent system and haven;t figured out the best way to route it yet. are you going to loop it bck to the driver side? outside of frame rail on passenger side...? what do you think?

Pretty sure Tom is going with a cheapo 2.5 exhaust until he purchases and installs a turbo, then he will prolly go mandral 3 inch. Maybe he will hook up with Bob Bankrofts guy who did his stainless exhaust system.

Your only other option is to route it down under the bell housing, which we have done successfully then tuck up inside the frame until the rear wheel, then out and through the back.

I had to notch the front crossmember as well. I used a piece of schecule 60 pipe to replace the material i removed. Been like that for 7 years since I did the SO. Works well with no binding. Oh, I have a CV.
