Looks like the Forest Circus is starting to open stuff up again on the Pisgah Natl forest. The have not opened dispersed camping in the Pisgah ranger district though, that's the area that HC is in. I'm pretty sure that Wolf C F is in the Cherokee though, and they are open for dispersed camping.

Yes, Wolf is Cherokee. So the only concern there is a pre-occupied site as always.

Still time to get comms in place. This is a wooded, windy track and being able to communicate (at least listen if unlicensed) is important for enjoying the ride. It can be frustrating to stop and not know whether it is a momentary pause or something longer.

My boys are coming with me, so three total in my car. Which meals will be group meals?

I believe @jvalex mentioned in the ONSC clubhouse that Sierra Nevada would not be open for lunch. Are we planning to meet there anyway? Maybe do a tailgate lunch in the parking lot?

So here the plan...we will meet at the Marathon gas station in Fletcher, 95 Terminal Dr, Fletcher, NC 28732, at 11am. Here everyone can fill up and stock up on whatever essentials they need, if you have a growler they have beer taps inside to fill you up. As for potluck, the club will be providing a low country boil for dinner Saturday night, each member will need to pitch in $10.

The parking lot is roped off, including the gravel section. Pick up only, no lingering on the premises.

I’m sure you have all checked the weather but just in case you haven’t it’s looking like a really wet weekend so pack accordingly.

In regards to the $10 for the potluck meal, we would like to have everyone go ahead and PayPal their portion to the club now so we do not have to worry about keeping up with collecting cash over the weekend. Thanks
