How's your 100 Series Body Lift?

1/2” is the gateway drug.
I too have the 1/2” TT BL kit. I think I’ve maximized my tire size at 35x11.5, +31 offset (they also fit at +44 but looked funny). They tuck now but any wider and/or more offset would put my tires into the fenders.

Most guys who want 35’s will want a full fat 12.5”/315 tire and a 1” BL makes a lot more sense for that.

Did you have to do anything more than the pinch welds and a 1/2" body lift to fit those 35s?

Looks like it will rub at turn with minimal suspension compression. Fear you may damage your fender with significant suspension compression. Do you have bump stops installed? Are they installed such that they prevent fender contact? Looks to me like you need at least a 1” BL lift.

Good luck

Looks can be deceiving. I haven't experienced any rub while wheeling but I admit I haven't removed the torsion bars and cycled the suspension fully. I did install Perry Parts bump stops well after that photo was taken but only to soften the big hits, not to reduce travel.

If looking for a steering shaft extension, this is another option... Got it from another thread around here.
Seems like nearly 1/2 the price as the Aussie one, and it's in the US (San Diego)

Contacted the shop recently and they confirmed it will fit 100 LandCuiser/LX
(I haven't done my BL yet, but prepping parts to do it this soon)

Did this end up working out for you? The store page says it adds 35mm to the steering shaft. Since my BL is only 25mm will this be a problem?

Heading back to Moab again this year, in a week. Will be second year in a row with the 2" BL. Zero issues, been pretty smooth handed with it though, I don't slam into obstacles, and don't rev spinning tires like crazy. Tightened up all the mounts, replaced all the rear suspension bushings, front LCA bushings, wheel bearings, front diff bushings.....so, will see! Fresh AHC bladders are up next once back.

This is the one I used as well, for 2" BL.
Didn't need one at all for the 1", just let the slack out of the coupler

Just installed another 25mm BL, on another of my 100's, after having the body jacked up at the rear to do some rear chassis repairs. Those mystery studs that come up from the cross member over the rear axle were great for judging getting the body aligned over the mounts correctly again (it had shift a little from being jacked up for the chassis work, not to fit the spacers). Maybe someone already mentioned that - this thread has got long!
