Over 10 yrs ago I met a bunch riding from Lake Cowichan to Dumont. They had ATV's like mine, and the reason I
bought my ATV. There is a way, if I was home I'd pinpoint the approx. route. But loggers got in about 3 yrs later
and wiped out that particular trail. Chainsaws and winches, lots and lots of gas.

Better get those running boards mounted up! Looks like a lot of fun.

Slid into some rock and roots, they were getting ding a bunch and pushing my sheet metal in...Either going to make a set of sliders slash running boards with Jay or borrow his bender for a few days.

Man I gotta get out wheeling with you guys at some point, looks like fun, and I need to knock some more rust off the FJ40

You should........ mostly easy fun runs, all this rain makes the easy trails a little more difficult..

We dumped our diffs all milky white, not to do our tcases...lots of water out there right now. Jims got a problem, rear diff making one heck of a clank on initial acceleration..

Here is a neat idea I saw. The front mounts to the forward running board bracket. The rear cross bar runs under the frame to the other
side, and incorporates a skid plate. It mounts to the frame as well. Kind of like one giant piece.

Jim running 4:11's?

Hi Cruiserpilot, Rob seems to think I have 307`s? keep your eyes open for any spare 3rd or complete diff pumpkin for me I might have done damage...thanks!

Just a guess at this point, need to drop the fluid and pull the rear cover...factory gears are 3:70, thats why you struggle on small climbs while I zip up...

Jim running 4:11's?

Neat idea..

I am not sure I have spare 3.70's. I would recommend a 4:11 upgrade, certainly for the amount of trail time you are running.

Making the family smoky bacon, w/cnd cheddar cheese and orange bell pepper omelets and sugar maple glazed sausages, Lindsay is making us dark roast coffee then its off to wake up Rob for another weekend of OFF ROAD ADVENTURES! Whhooop!
