@bernardbar3 Looks nice. Considering the same for my 43. Anything you would do different if you could do it again?
Very pleased with the results. My body shop guy sent me pictures and I stopped by his shop several times a week. I really stayed on top of what the final result should be. He also made many recommendations that helped as well.

My daughter also flew down from Boston and arrived the day I got the truck out of the body shop. I also had the shop install a roll bar, winch, rear gas can carrier and a snorkel. I still have to get the interior finished, a lift kit and 17 inch FJC steelies and tires. It’s still a work in progress 👏🏼

Wow, your FJ43 looks amazing with that new steel top. My red '83 FJ43 also came from Colombia. I have a tan soft top I also sourced from there, but I'd love to get a steel top made for it. Those old MPR and other fiberglass tops are getting harder and harder to find. Would you mind sharing the name and contact info of that shop in Bogota? There's also a shop in Ontario, Canada — Gozzard Composites — that produces fiberglass bodies and body parts for the FJs. They're worth checking out. I'd love to do a cost comparison — steel vs. composite. Thanks and happy wheeling!

Duh, just saw the banner to FABRIPARTESMM in one of your pics. Still would love to chat with you about it. Thanks.
Hola Amigo, Yes the steel hardtop looks fantastic, I'm happy with it. Today I went to a wheels and tire shop to get some 17 inch steelies. I had a crowd of Colombians wanting to know all about my truck, I haven't seen another like it here in Bogota. What is the probability and cost of getting a hard top for your rig there in Canada? Also we can chat on whatsapp. I'll send you a PM.

Hola bernardbar3! Thanks for the reply. I'm sure 17 steelies will take your rig to new heights (sorry, pun intended). I just hit you up on WhatsApp. No official plan to add a hard top yet, but I'm weighing the options. Love the idea of steel vs. composite top. Let's chat soon.
