i would like to know how much frame there should be in front of the front crossmember. I would like to cut off the bumper that is currently on my fj and replace it with a stock bumper. I don't know how much frame has been cut off previously with other bumper installs. Can someone tell me how the stock bumper mounts to the frame. Is it just the gussets that bolt to the frame and the bumper bolts to the gusset. Any insight would be appreciated.
