How do you slice your sandwiches?

Ok...so I'm bored, waiting for front end parts and the diff to come back, the smoker is doing its thing for the next few hours and the pasta sauce is on a low simmer...and this is what happens when my mind wanders

The insists bread slices and sandwiches need to be cut at a 90* angle. Me...well I prefer diagonal cut but won't let that get in my way either

Oh wow... The Great Sandwich cut debate... My wife has two thoughts (1) if the sandwich will be eaten quickly, she says diagonal, more appealing (2) if she is taking the sandwich for lunch and be eaten later, she cuts it at 90° BECAUSE the edges don't dry out as much...

Me, its all about my mood and presentation for a pic most of the time. I've said it before... I haven't met too many sandwiches I didn't like... So with that being said... I say cut on a diagonal for the most part is my preference.

I do a little of both, cut just off of diagonal and 90. Just to be different.

If all is well in the world, my wife is making the sandwhich and I could not care less how or if it's cut.

Perhaps you slicers need to buy smaller bread. There's a Spinal Tap moment to go along with that, though. He was a folder, not a slicer.

But that starts the debate on folding the sandwich top to bottom, side to side or diagonal...

Norcal doug proved diagonal was better. Something about the ratio of crust to no crust being more evenly distributed.
