Hot metal smell

Every time I get done driving my LC there is this hot metal smell coming from it. The same smell like when use a cutting torch. All the fluids are good, it is full of coolant. It runs like a champ. Should I be concerned?

Turn down the 80s rock station on the stereo, that aughta fix it...

Check to make sure your exhaust is not rubbing on something / in good condition?

thats probably your brakes. somewhere..its dragging. can you pinpoint which corner its coming from? when crawling at idle, all windows down..can you hear anything?

Mine has that smell after I grease the drivelines, slinging grease from rear DL onto muffler.

X2, that is what mine does too, driveline grease on exhaust / muffler.

Quick check to see if your brakes are binding, after driving, just lightly touch the metal on your rims, close to the hubs they should be either cool or slightly warm, hot to the touch signifies binding.

X3 I have the same smell and discovered grease flung onto the muffler from the driveline. Take a look at your muffler for grease...

I vote for the grease from u-joints slung on muffler.

I had some cooked on grease that had baked itself into the muffler. It would only come off with a screw driver.

Months later the faint smell is still there after driving.

Not to beat a dead horse but grease or oil on my exhaust gives me the same smell.
