Mark-

Installing larger sections helps if there is more than 1 person. 1 to hold while the other positions, stretches and heats to smooth out the bumps wrinkles etc. Its not too difficult to get the material applied around curves angles etc. BTW- Will the vendor include any install notes, or maybe post up a suggested application kit so everyone is prepared with the right application tools?

Did I read your response correctly that there is no adhesive on this material? I am aware of low tack 3m adhesive on vinyl wraps but haven't seen a no-adhesive.

Questions for Crawlorado:
- Fluid nozzle remove or cut-out?

Added myself to the list. What do you expect the payment method will be?

Uhm... don't quote me (again, yet) on that Andrew. I'm going to default to my earlier comment - that I'm new to the vinyl wrap/decal world. I'm assuming there's some adhesive. But, it goes on with water and a squeegees - as opposed to a high-tack peel and stick. My point/assumption was that it'd seem to make short sections on/near curves/angles harder to lay flat while it dries. "harder" being the operative word there.

Ok gotcha, thanks. When you get yours, I'm happy to help, or stand by with beer in hand to offer useless commentary.

Had one of the crawlorado blackout panels on my old 4Runner, great quality. Basically felt like a giant vinyl decal, and I applied it the same way. I bought the kit and it came with a squeegee, I also had to remove the nozzles and cut holes in the vinyl then reinstall.

Here's a link to their install instructions for more info: http://www.crawlorado.com/files/vinyl_install.pdf

I'm having one done at a buddy's shop in a matte gray close to the trim color of my truck. I'm probably also going to wrap the side trim and the scraped up bumpers as well in the same stuff. He's not charging me much, but should look excellent and will be reversible. I may do the roof as well, but I haven't decided as its more for protection. Still a few weeks away from getting the time to do it but will post pics!

We followed the upper hood line with our own design, as we didn't know there was an option besides custom. This one was put on my friends truck by a local wrap shop per our measurements that charged him a lot of $$ for a small area. It looks great though!

I really like that @MattThompson. Where are we on this group buy @Manhattan?? Not trying to rush anything I know these group buys are complicated and take time (possibly more commitments), I'm just anxious:D

Hey guys, this is Trevor with crawlorado. im excited to do this group buy.. the 100 series decal is just larger than my Machine is capable of cutting vinyl, so i have to have these outsourced. what i would like to do, is give until the 4th of November to make payment.. As long as i can get 5+ people i will have the order put in, and will be shipping them out within a week, and you will have the decal before the 18th of November.. (Should be sooner than this, but i want to give myself time incase i have issues) After the 5th, i will still have these on my site, but at $100. rather than the $80 that this group buy is for.

Question - Are the Squirters Cutout? - No you will need to remove the windshield squirters, install the decal, and the cut the holes, and reinstall the squirters. they are not too hard to remove, but are a little tricky.. this method takes a little more time, but looks the cleanest on the final product!

install video is here -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jizeh8VXUBs

I use only the best 3M vinyl for an easy install, and long life!
My paypal is Trevor@crawlorado.com. please send payment of $80 (includes shipping to the Lower 48) In the Notes please let me know its for 100 series group buy, Ive been on mud forever, and i will issue refunds if only a few people are able to pay.

Big thanks to ed94r for getting this together!

Is the 3M vinyl very thick? I have a few paint chips and was wondering if they would show up underneath the vinyl.

The material is 4.5 Mil Thick.. but paint chips will still show through, the matte black shows off imperfections.. my suggestion is to maybe get a color match paint pen and fill those flat before you install the decal.. (or if you plan on always having a blackout on there any color/filler will do)

@Isotel Payment sent! Let me know if you receive it
