Depending on how hungover I am, I may be able to make this run. Of course, I may end up being a passenger if things continue in the same direction with my rig. She's definitely starting to show her age.

Not much in the way of doing part of it, unless you want to go back the way you came.

Its not that I do not want to, it that my family is not excited about me being gone for 8-10 hrs. I will have to do some convincing and see how it goes. Hopefully I will see you there. thanks again for the info.

You're welcome to come along, but there is no where to bail out of this trail. You would have to just turn around and head back out the way we came and all the best stuff on this run is from about the 1/2 way point on.
Come along Mike, it'll be fun! Bring the family, no reason to leave them behind. My wife and 5yr old daughter will be there.

It a great, fun trail for an 80. But not knowing your wheeling experience or rig, my minimum recommendation would be at least one step oversize tires and 2"+ lift. If your familiar with the Wells books, he rates it #70 in difficulty among the 75 trails he lists in AZ. His books list relatively easy/moderate trails, but this one places near the top of that list. It's ~20 miles of dirt with plenty of obstacles, I would plan to be airing up at sundown, if not with a flashlight, it's an all day trail.
Not trying to scare you away, just some reality. Your welcome to come and bring the family if they want. If you not comfortable driving, you will probably not have a problem finding a seat to ride in.

I've done it in 5-1/2 with just 2 rigs and we didn't do any obstacles and we didn't spend much time out of the rigs. I'd rather spend 8-10 hours doing it and having more fun. rover guys
