Hoi Spud, @Crick60 , just saw this episode of "Comedians in Cars getting Coffee" with Sarah Jessica Parker...classic American station wagon...all the windows (and the stories about growing up in the States with those types/models of cars) kind of reminds me of the 60...if that station wagon had 4wd, it would be pretty close to a 60..."experientially" speaking...

Spud, I have gone the other way - I am selling my 2001 hdj100 and keeping the 60 as my daily driver.... Will miss the power though!
I was just lamenting the sale of my 60 but cherishing the fact that I've got a mint 61 to take its place, it's gonna be a hard sight to watch the grub's tail lights disappear down the street mate with the work you've put into it.
You have replaced it with one of the best landcruisers ever made though. One day I'll get the dual cab 79 and be done with playing the Landcruiser safe keeping shepherd game and I'll watch the young bloke collect and restore the "classic" 100 series.

It is bullsh1t the difference between the 2h and 12ht, not even a turbo 2h compares.
I'm not used to the power, she out torques the new ford ranger that's for sure.

I drive a 12ht every day. i know they have some low torque, pulled 3 odd ton today and will happily lug along at 1200 rpm but a 3.2 5cil ranger?? Im really suprised about that
