sorry if i couldn't find the treat that's already talking about this...

i have a problem with my tailgate, i firt tought it was the alignment of the lock and the pin (so i adjusted it and it closes as new) but i still have the problem that i close my tailgate, lock it and go for a little drive, and it has unlocked itself because of the vibrations....

even if i rattle the lock after it is locked after a min or two it pops open.....


can someone help me, i really can't find the problem

Mine used to do that. There are two locking engagements when it closes. Try to position the lock & striker closer together so it can fully grab the 2nd locking mechanism. But when it wears out, the only fix is the replace the latch.
