Had a bit of time last night so managed to pressure clean the chassis and get the engine out, hoping to have everything completely stripped by mid next week. Makes it hard having my only time off when all business are shut for the Christmas break but between the body, chassis and driveline i'm sure i'll keep busy for the next 2 weeks.

Okay so the build stopped for a while, I went overseas and now I’m juggling work and study so time doesn’t really exist. However I do now how both front and rear 80 series diffs, the front centre looks tiny next to the 40 series but I think that will work in my favour in terms of cutting off the coil brackets and aligning my leaf brackets with the current spring position.

I picked up the front diff yesterday so I’ve sent off a few emails today to places to get the diffs modified. If anyone has any good contacts let me know. I’ve emailed aussie diffs down the coast and diff lapping up north to see what they say.

Once the diff mounts are done I’ll be focusing on steering, chucking on some manual hubs and sorting out break lines.
