HJ45 - Troopy in Utah

I did some more sheet metal work since the last update.
Installed the front floors and supports, filled dash holes, fixed the bottom of the pillars.

Cut out part of the engine clearance hump - with the v8 this will be flat, and it needs to be flat to fit the vintage air in a RHD vehicle since everything indexes off of that for the vintage air style AC units. I also removed the blower panel.

Made a patch panel for the blower panel on the bead roller. Not sure why Toyota had the ribs or what they would look like if they were completed so I made up a pattern that fit the existing ribs.

I have a helper now to help this move along faster, so more progress to come.
 
If you already have the cowl off of the troopy why don’t you go ahead and convert it to LHD?

That is a good question. I have had a RHD vehicle on my bucket list for a while so this is it. I also already converted it to rhd Saginaw steering. I have questioned that decision many times though.
