Heya all, for sale is my HJ45, original 'H' motor - 3.6L Diesel, with 4 speed manual.
It's a 1977 ute, NO RUST, anywhere.
Cab and Chassis in Great/perfect condition.
motor needs work, runs ok, regoed til OCT.
all lights and gauges work
original Int/Ext, Splits with 85% tread, fibreglass roof, carpeted, doors as well,
pull stop turnoff, Brake Cylinders done ($1200) with receipts, new battery.after market a/c ( fan switch operated)

wanted to drop a 2h and 5speed, but a guy today convinced me its great condition and should be kept that way ... original.

I'm in Perth WA AUST.
also swap for a 4x4 ute.

FYI:

do not pay the forwarder any cash up front!

ask if the gas tank has to be drained completely empty (for transport)... that translates to bringin a couple of gallons of petro to the port when picking up.

my guess for shipping is between $3,200 and $3,800 (american) ,,, but, i am prolly off

what did you expect shipping from an island with no real exports? the last truck i shipped from Oz to Ontario Canada cost $4800 and i recieved quotes as high as $7K.

your not shipping over a chunk of rock or from a location of high ocean travel like Japan or China or Europe.

Take it easy chief! Had a car shipped from Hawaii to Oregon for $500.
I'll find out for sure tomorrow!
 
i havent got my quote yet. but , seen as im at work i probably wont post it until this arvo/tonight ( 12 - 13hours )
it's for sale until this thurs/friday. then if no seriously interested buyers, I will be dropping out of a hj60 recond 2h with 4 speed newer transfer and axles with discs, then to add p/s. give it a slight lift( reset leafs and new shocks ) and whatever else it will need for that conversion :D, everything out of it will go to a wrecker for about 100- maybe 200 bucks

Driving it to port will save $ if you pm me I can give you my freight forwarder and he can take care of most else.

It can be as much as the price of the truck... I will help if you need it. Mine was $4800 but picked up from the interior of AU and delved to my door in fl.

I was in Perth AU late 2009 and wish this was for sale then! Shipping was around $2500 US then. Not sure now but given the hike in fuel costs I'd expect more like $3K. Hope its less for you and good luck gents!

*update, * the guy selling me his 2h and all running gear ( to the calipers ) is away for a fortnight ( FIFO ) soooo, I dunno. i havent got my shipping quote back either yet :(
 
DAS called me today. Said they don't have a quote for me cause they don't ship from Perth, only from Melbourne or Brisbane and it would take 24 to 48 hours for that quote. :meh:
