sent WardamnEagle a hinge for his 77, but they are different from my 76 and older, anybody know about this? or is it just me?

All mine for the 71s are pointed. Will the bolt holes match up, any other differences?

Pretty sure the bolt holes line up. The shape of the reinforcement ribs are slightly different. I think the spring, bushing and pins that I need will interchange. Just need to look if it disassembles easily.

FWIW, ToyoDIY shows the same part number for all years: 68730-90352.
 
Well after reading through a few threads on these hinges, I don't think I'll be taking mine apart anytime soon. I am pretty sure that the hinge that Pigeaten sent me will work for parts. Here's an old thread that has some useful information on rebuilding the hinges. Just linking it here for reference: 55 hinge repair-NAPA kit #675-5157

This job can wait for if and when I disassemble the pig. Many thanks again @Pigeaten for sending the hinge. I don't think it will go to waste.
