Quick question for you paint gurus, I have just had a couple of seat frames blasted and need to hit them with some primer. Do I need to lay down some self etching primer before I lay down the high build or can I just start with the high build?

You can get a product that does both very pricey....

No need to use a self etching primer on freshly blasted steel. In fact, I would recommend a good epoxy primer and then high build if you really need it. Why do you need high build primer on the seat backs? Are you doing any body work on them? That's the kind of part that I would just blast, epoxy prime, and then paint.
