That is the ball center I use. .562" = 14.2748mm

I have been building links for the FJC and 4RNR for over 4 years using this ball center. There are others making links for the Toyotas as well, using the same ball center. There are also a great number of folks out there running this ball center with the 14mm stock bolts as the stock 14mm bolt is .2748 mm smaller than the 9/16".

Most simply tighten the bolt to the point that the ball center is locked into the mount and therefore does not make the click sounds. As I have stated, this is why I do not include the hardware, it gives the customer the option of using the size of his or her choice and keeps the price of the links themselves down. If it becomes that much of an issue I can supply the required hardware as a seperate item.

Stan

I realize this thread is approaching a year old but rather than start a new thread on the same topic/vendor I wanted to add an update.

I ordered non-adjustable rear LCAs from Stan and installed them a week ago. The construction is stout. Installation was easy. The finish was sprayed, not PC. Had I been thinking I would have asked Stan to PC them and paid extra. My oversight and not his as Stan is very accommodating.

My 100 only has 139K (118K with PO at the mall) but felt soft on twisty mountain highway/roads. Plenty of them in Western NC/North Georgia regardless of where you go. Even with the low miles I was amazed at the difference in road manners with the new rear LCAs. Many folks very understandably wait until higher miles to start replacing bushings but in my case it made a difference much sooner. Worth considering if you have the “wallow” but don’t have high miles yet.

I did not purchase these links, but when I installed my new links, the entire truck felt different! I wonder if the bushings on the panhard bar ever wear out...

I know how you feel. It makes me want to do new bushings all around.

With all the work you've done on your truck lately I bet both it and your wallet feel different!
