Help with my TRD supercharger install...

My sc gets here tomorrow. Would anyone with the know how be interested in helping me with the install this weekend or next?
Of course I'm willing to compensate you for your time and knowledge.

You should PM Sam. He sure seems knowledgable and his rig is SC'd. If I am free, I might just stand around and watch, and drink some , .

Some specific tools that will help:
-309 ft/lb torque wrench
-belt tensioner pulley wrench

I think beyond that, it's all basic tools and wiring.

The head gasket seems to be the weak point on the cruiser and adding the supercharger will add additional stress to the top end, possibly causing failure.

Many people have added the SC on the original HG without issues, but others have had it fail shortly after adding the SC. Higher mileage trucks would be more likely to have issues. YMMV

With that said, I would love to help but I am working Saturday. If you think you need a hand Sunday I would be happy to come down (I'm in Newport Beach). I have the sockets and 3/4" breaker bar for the crankshaft bolt, plus a custom plate for torquing - see this link

I would be happy to share any info I can.

Oh BTW there are some other "while you are in there" things to do. While doing the supercharger, it is the perfect time, i.e belts, idler pulley, oil pump cover o-ring, etc... I can help you with that stuff too.
