Ummm, what keeps the shocks from rotating the links constantly? Am I missing something? And damn they hang down far.

Overall looks good though, very tough.

i know i know. so compromised. at least the link has a bushing at the axle side. and it hangs so low

to do this right I realy need to move these shocks behind the axle

Dusty congrats buddy must feel GREAT to be done, sit back and look at her. Three things:

1. I don't know how you feel about rust, but if you haven't sprayed all the raw metal with something, I'd recommend it before you drive around too much/wheel it.

2. The DS front wheel in the above pic looks pitched in/bowed out at the top to me, but maybe it's my eyes.

3. I almost learned the hard way, that with all the fab and new fixtures/bolts vibrations will tend to loosen things especially as you wheel for the first time. KEEP an eye and hand on your nuts and bolts, (lol, but seriously) and keep a ratchet around to retighten and check.

Look forward to seeing more pics on and off road bro. Congrats

actually i get off work in 2 hours. i will load her on a trailer tonite and leave tom.
i am bringing paint with me. will paint her in utah. this truck isn't complete but enough so to wheel. this came down to the last hour. she has no front fenders in the pic

that leaning side has a flat. nelson is airing her up in the pic. the lx450 wouln't fit out the garage and we had to let the air down to almost nothing to get it out.

Can't wait to see the video ; ). Pics will only tease us! I learned the hard way about about bare metal & exposure to the elements! Figured I would wheel a few times then paint. doh!

was still working on her when i got to utah. the locker swithes came from a wire that hung through the drivers side window and were wired into the cigaret liter. my litle bro finished the final wiring in the cab of me dodge on the way to the trail

but this truck does not disapoint. she is a sick pig and climbs like mad

this 3rd pic is at sand hollow. st george utah. the crazy scout seen here is my little bros killer scout

Gotta love a build that finishes, and no less than 6 days later the builder is hitting the trails.

Awesome build, and I can't believe how well you can stuff those meats. Truly awesome.

yea she is more than i hoped for

a few issues:
doesn't stop worth a damn. i dont think the master cylinder can handle the calipers. goes all the way to the floor. bled her 6 times and no leaks and no air in the lines

i think a driveline is vibrating. hope its not the diff. been doing it from the start

i put my 2" spacers in front with my 4" slees and i think i need to ditch my j's in the rear and get some slee 6"

i need a swaybar

gears now get it done but i need lower

the swampers did great at 12psi and didn't loose a bead but need locks. my little bro is running staun internals and they seem like a good option

need an ebrake

need limit straps

durring the whole 2 days of wheeling i did with her i didn't hang up on those rear shock mounts even once but they are on the list to be moved

the fox shocks did great. they let me off stuff so soft with the oe bumps

and all of you out there who are not using those rear bump stops need to find a way to do so. they are so plush. get rid of the hard frame bumps that we are all extending and use the spring bumps instead. the have at least 3 inches of travel

Look forward to seeing it in the flesh. How was your response with the Hydro Assist?

so nice to turn without fighting the wheel. no leaks. the tap seems to have worked perfectly. i will be up at shaver lake running bald mountain the friday-sun weekend after xmas if you want to go wheeling too.
