nelson majors of Spidermonkey Fab made me these wonderful sliders.
1/8" wall 1.75" dom. exactly 63" long

Just caught wind of the great progress you've made. wish I would have checked in sooner as I have all the Hydro assist routing info already laid out for my rig, but it looks like you've got it all figured out.

Two things I ran into that I'll mention even though you probably accounted for it:

1. When stuffing my 40's I ran into clearance issues in the front between panhard, draglink, and Hydro assist, I'd make sure that all check outs both at full tuck and droop. You have different axles therefore different Hysteer, pics hit and that contact might be an issue.

2. Rear DS fender are you planning on leaving the fuel tube as is or relocating it? don't know how much uptravel you have, but with 42's on 4" coils I'd imagine that you would be rubbing as you flex the truck. Until I dropped by bumps limiting my uptravel to 4" my tires would contact the fuel hose and I sit a bit higher.

What did you use for your control arm tube (2" .25wall DOM)?

Look forward to hopefully see the rig on the trail

im not certain about the ram. take a good look and if its wrong tell me now. im down to the wire on this thing and every thirty minutes helps. i dont even have time to weld up my sliders. Nelson of spidermonkey fab is welding up my sliders AT MY HOUSE as I write this from work.

I hope the front is right. ill put the wheels on her within the next couple of days. my truck is about 6 inches longer wheelbase than yours now and the rear is wider. everything is diff than the original axle set up. 42's will absolutely not fit in the front of an oe 80 unless the wheelbase is lengthened-the tires will be in the firewall. hopefully the filler neck wont get hit.

still have to :
set up arb-got the slee manifols and arb mount yesterday
place a 3/4" spacer on the front driveshaft
weld a couple shock mounts
mount the limit straps
finish sliders
place the lube locker gaskets on the pumpkins
change the oil
TEST THE TRAVEL
starp her on a trailer-i will be in utah in 1 week from today

the gas in the tank is a year old. is it safe to run?

Nothing like a deadline to get you into gear and have the redbull pumping through the veins... If you plumbed as per the pic you posted you should be good to go (Make sure, you run a full synthetic steering fluid, I also add a little squirt of lucas oils steering stabilizer in there too).

I am aware of the longer wheel base given the axle and tire size which is why I'd press for you to look at the fuel line and potential rubbing on vital parts. If it does a simple piece of 1/8" plate welded to cover the hose area would suffice until a better solution was found. The steering will live if it rubs so long as you don't catch any air (if you want to see .25wall tube bend catch some air:D)

I would NOT turn that key with year old gas sitting in the tank. Some of the other on here can address the issue better, but I believe you should drain it out and add a little stabilizer or something to the new gas befor turning the key to start her up.

You never answered: What tube I.D. and wall are the control arms?

thanks man.
control arms are 2" od 1/4" wall dom. i feel good about the front arms but the rears are 4 feet long and have me wondering...

i need to post pics of the sliders. almost done. absolutely bombproof.....

lets see those sliders pics! i need some my self and looking at different designs

Post up pics of the finished product before you leave pls......can't wait to see it! :D

sweet sliders. do you have catalytic converters? did not see in pics. if so, are they protected by your sliders like most aftermarket sliders?

Dusty, i only see one issue in those pics. You should be drinking the sugar free/carb free blue canned rock stars! They are the shizzle!

Other than that, everything else passes my inspection. keep up the good work.
