Hi guys, I'm new here.
I have the same problem with my dad's LC 100. The cabin air filter only goes in half way. But I have a solution for people who already bought the cabin air filter.
All you have to do is cut it in half
Notice I labeled 1 and 2
This will only work if you put 1 into the slot first. (It's shaped like that for a reason) If you put 2 in first it wont go down. There will be something in the way.
What's left to do is put the cover back on and screw everything back to place.

P.S : I sawed off too much of 2. So it's wobbling a bit, I ended up jaming a piece of paper so it wouldn't wobble around. Just saw off 1 according to my picture and 2 will hopefully have a tight fit.
