So do I.............but not for my dog

We have a 5 month old Britt, whose real name is Tag, but due to some behavioral indescretions he is affectionately known as Shi-theed...an alternate pronunciation......to which he answers:)

I like one syllable, hard consonant names that don't sound anything like a command you intend to give the dog.

Good Luck on the naming process.

Argos
It was the name of king Odysses dog in Homers book The Odyssey. When Odysses returned from is epic dressed as a begger, Argos was the only one who recognized him. It was also the name of the island that queen penelope (Odysses wife) was from. Their is a page about him in the chapter titled "The begger in the mannor" that talks about what a good and faithful dog he was.
I named one of my dogs Argos and he has without a doubt lived up to his namesake. Good luck Albee
