Help evaluate this 2013 LC

So i'm planning on buying this LC 2013 from PA. I wanted to post some of the pictures of the frame and check if they look legit. The PPI guys told me the undercarriage seems to be rubberized but wanted ya'lls thoughts on this. The vehicle seems to have spent it's time in NY for most of it's life.

Looks like a solid annual coat of Fluid Film or some other lanolin product but I would verify it is not a rubberized, hard coating like Zeibart. Should be oily. Did they miss any spots? Any body rust? Tires need replaced ASAP. About all I can tell on very limited into.
 
If it’s oily like fluid film, that checks out and is clean for a 2013 PA rig. It would be a yes for me.

If it’s truly rubberized undercoating, that would be a HARD pass for me. That will rot the metal from the inside out. They just totalled that car if they applied that.
 
As well check the filter in the glove box and make sure it opens and closes.
 
What's with the corrugated black boots at uneven levels on the rear shocks? Hiding corrosion?

Get a good look at the KDSS valve.

IMO not enough info here to make a judgement.

That said, if you are in Texas, you should wait for one without any corrosion or history in salt areas. You'll thank yourself later.
 
^^^ was just going to say... if you're in TX, why the hell are you shopping in PA?
 
Is the vehicle actually located in PA or is it in TX? Many dealers will ship vehicles ahead of sale to sell in a different market to unsuspecting buyers.
 
Is it missing running boards? If so, any other mods? There is rust peaking out in places that were missed with the black stuff. If it was me, I would not buy it without seeing it in person. Too many unknowns from the photos.
