Thank you again guys i really appreciate you taking the time to help
I think i have narrowed down the problem but it may require an auto Elec to fix it. That picture below with the circuit board is definitely after market and im not even convinced my ignition switch barrel is stock standard aswell ! The wire colours coming out of the ignition are different to that of the wire diagram above although im pretty sure i know what each wire is for regardless.
OK so getting down to it, that control board is controlling the wiper switch and also looks like the ignition goes through that circuit !!!
I think its faulty as 12V is coming into the circuit but ZeroV is leaving the circuit where those small red/black and white/black wires are.
When i unplug the white connector (multiple coloured wires) the wipers behave exactly as they should but car still wont start, so why did they install that bloody thing in the first place!!!
THe issue with the starter not engaging must be because that circuit control board is faulty or something an no power is going to it.
Now i though about connecting the red wire with that inline fuse (in the picture next to the control board) directly to the little red wire that is connected to the control board to see if the issue with the starter would resolve itself but i admit it i was a bit fearful to do this. That red wire with the inline fuse is power 12V coming from the ignition so i figured if i wire it this way i would be bypassing this stupid control board and connecting it straight back up to the regular fuse panel. Hopefully you guys are following me here?
If not i guess thats why im considering getting it towed to the local auto electrician where they can charge me an absurd amount to look at it
The upside is its definitely not the switch thats faulty.
