You are right.
On the tech side, I strongly recommend supporting Hell Creek and others who are working hard to put out a quality product "localy".
It is not wizards opinion I made the comment about, it is how he expressed it.
Point taken though Euclid, nuff said. Thanks.
We're still tinkering with the rear springs. He's shortening them
OK Man! thanks.......![]()
I'm in the market for a mild lift and suspension upgrade, so I'm following this closely...
What's the advantage of these over OME, if any, besides cost? I'd also like to buy made in USA. I support American manufacturing whenever reasonable.![]()
Cost...and strength. The springs just look strong - and they are. A 62 is a heavy SOB and I just moved right along fairly comfortably on the trails at Grayrock. When the hotshot driver tried to bind my rig down with chains (imagine an FJ 62 on the very top of a car carrier rig), my rig appeared to barely budge while another 60 right by it with an older 4-inch (not Hell Creek) lift seemed to compress down a lot more. Granted, mine will settle more too over time, but I was impressed with just that exhibition of strength.
Service is another issue. If something is not right (which doesn't happen often), Tom will make it right.
Made in the USA - really important to some.
I think it's a good product.
It's my pleasure. After seeing how generous he was to Cottonland Cruisers for their SCC event and then even more recently with a buddy of mine's 40 series and a correction Tom made that he did for FREE!, I think we're dealing with a class act.
