I'll be there in the AM but probably have to leave around lunch....I have a electic impact driver I'll bring too.

So the good news is that it runs!!!! YEAH! The bad news is that I had the wrong bracket for the accelerator cable. SOR is overnighting me one, so hopefully I'll drive her home on Friday.

Heather,
Melissa and I will be coming. She has a 1PM game so we will need to leave around ~11:30. Melissa is looking forward to playing with Margot if she will have her. See you tomorrow.

Oh, and FYI...the pig came home today. The carb is micky moused at the moment, but she's running (although it's a bit rough with nasty gas in the tank).

Thanks y'all! Plenty to do tomorow still...I have a container of nuts and bolts that go somewhere, and we get to try to figure out where. Plus, she'll look much better with a little lift and some new shoes (hell, and new feet for that matter).

I typed up a huge thank you to everyone that came, and MUD ate it. So for now, here's pics and thanks to those who came and helped! You all rock!!

Interior :grinpimp::grinpimp:

Heather,
Thanks for hosting your HAM. I am sorry that we had to leave so early; the brisket smelled great and your pig is a sweet truck. So what did it finally take to get that spring bushing to go in? Also, did I have the front springs mounted right? I was worried that I may have had them reversed.

No Larry, thank you for coming and doing so much!!! We never would have gotten as much done without you!

That spring bushing was a bugger! It took 3 people, a 2X4, a clamp and a bottle jack to wedge it in, but it worked! And yes, the springs are fine...at least no one said any different, so all is well.

I drove her around a while today to clear out the bad gasoline (at least that was my excuse) and it's WONDERFUL!!!

Thanks again, and thank Melissa for me...she's a trooper!

Great work everyone! Heather, the pig is awesome, too bad you're going to have to wrestle it away from Margot! The interior is fantastic looking.

The pig does look very good. It's amazing what new interior, paint and all new weatherstripping will do for cruiser. Have to say it was one beautiful cruiser. I've never until this weekend have worked on a 55 where I laid towels down while instaling things.

Heather if you need any help in touching up the paint just let me know. I've gotten pretty good at spraying paint lately. Plus I have some good touch up guns. You would just need to get the paint. Might want to find out the exact color and place that mixed it and get a quart of each. Did they use a clear coat or was it a single stage paint?
