the h15x series, for 100/105 series with separated (bucket) seats has a shift lever that emerges from behind the main plate- in the "transfer case adapter housing" with an internal op rod that relays to normal front position.

for h15x (hdj, vdj, grj, fzj, and hzj only 80 series)
ALL 70 series, 80 series, and 100/105 with bench seats applications use the forward or main plate shifter which has several shifters available.
only the 100/105 w bucket seats have the rearward shifter.

The R15x (behind 1hz's) are shown above in images, 70 series use standard rear location, 80 series schematics show no R15x implants offered, 100/105 got them (w 1hz's)

I have been looking at ebay.au images for 15 months and never have seen the bucket/100/105 series offered. Australian market 105's have many autos, manuals tend to be 1hz-R15x, and if there is a hdj/fzj they have bench seats for the most part.

Thanks for all the information, but I was able to find an 80 series H151F source.

I still think it's an interesting subject to go for the 100 series assembly for those guys who want to buy new parts including the transmission.

I know it's a bit of a dig, but does anyone know if you can put 1st and 2nd from a H150F into a H151F? Thus keeping the 300mm clutch but lower first and second? Or swap the input shaft? With 315's I like highway revs but they suck power taking off (have 1hdt/h151f/hf2a)

Was this a custom clutch to fit the fine spline input shaft on the H150?

you can get this from Exedy too ..

That's awesome info! I'll probably just pick up a complete H150F and HF2AV refurb and sell the H151/HF2A, and use this clutch.

Thanks Tapage. Saved a lot of effort.

What H150F applications were fine splined?

All .. 21 splines ..

H151 coarse 14 splines ..

H55F it's the one with 2 flavors .. 10 coarse and 21 fine ( behind some 1HZ in HZJ70 platforms )

I've an H150F/HF1A with 14 splined input shaft, from an FZJ75.

What were the H150Fs used in with an HZ?

Mmm pretty interesting .. maybe the difference it's the gasser then ..?

I still don't get less coarse spline in more powerful engine ..

HZJ80/105 and 70 for us .. they both came with H150 21 fine splines ..
