It looks like you put in a tremendous effort to do the swap. What kind of fuel econ do you get with the hdj? Good luck w your sale.
Excuse me - how do you read the VIN to get manufacturing date ? I am trying to import a LC and it has no UPC Bar Code Sticker on the door ,,Canada Cistoms - needs to determine the manuf. date MM/YY ,,is teh a site where Ican learn this

I don't you can claim only one in North America though, I believe there a couple on the west coast and I think a well known cruiser shop south of the border here has done a couple of those conversions. I think one swap used a donor 24 valve with a 5 speed as well from a 105.
Makes the swap fairly straight as far as computers and wiring goes.

I've decided to keep the truck. 1- I couldn't settle with what I would replace it equivalent in size. 2- that thing just keep on going and going without any trouble, I'd mostlikely be changing it with something requiring more maintenance.
Unless I'm offered great amount that would allow me to get something equivalent in size and realibility. I'll keep it.
Uzj100. For you info the rear Ac controls are there but the larger Ac is not, neither the wiring to hook up the rear Ac controls. I really never had a issue without it, but I'm in Canada. No a-trac. HDJ100 didn't came with electric controls. But it does have the rear locker. And AHC new accumulators on it and been running flawlessly.

Thank you for the update. North Carolina requires rear AC with the heat and humidity.
I wonder if profitts out west can install a 1hd-fte in a 2004? And keep the rear ac and driver nanny's. I will contact them.

In order to do this swap you need a complete hdj100, anyone telling you otherwise, believe you are bringing a blank check.
Drivers nanny? you mean electronics? no impossible unless you get your hand on a hdj100 that came with the electronics, not sure that ever happened
