Oh man, I can't believe I have never done this! Frying a turkey is the only way to eat it. From now on, this is how I am doing it!

Done the deep fried turkey in the past. Wanted to try something different this year.
We pulled off the rotisserie chicken in the field! Built out of scratch and used a inverter for the motor. Worked great.

Yeah, we deep fried this year...if done right, it can be the best. Luckily this year it was done right!

Turned out great. We had to lower it as we gained more and more coals... thank goodness we put the lower sections in it. Took about 4-5 hours too cook. The wood smelled great.. it was cedar i just cut up.
Very nice. I thought you may have to lower the bird. Only you (DAVE) would have the tools to pull this off. OH! and the kitchen sink also.
My in-laws deep fried a turkey about 5 years ago. I was fantastic! The best turkey I'd ever had.
