you wouldn't be able to bear the first cut, you would be in the house hiding and you know it.

thing is, the first time you do something it is a trial run.
next time, if there is a next time, the cuts woudl be located differently, the headliner and trim would be removed.

Cool, I guess the original side glass will fit? you wont be able to open the windows as wide though.

Every time I see this truck I want to build half doors for my 74. Love this project and that beast of a Troopie you have going! Congrats.

the side glass out of a solid top 70 will have the frame cut 3" in length so yes, the windows will not open as far as stock.

I could cut that sucker as long as "off white" wood putty was available at the local hardware store. I assume they still make 1/8", 1/4" and 1/2" wood putty.:) Heck, off-white duct tape may even be available.:)
Rear windows are over rated.

nah, i did do the half hard top on a 74 in the past and liked it .. a lot.

picking it up from Gozzard
the outside looks really nice, the strengthening patch will be hidden behind the new headliner when it goes in.

the BJ70 windows are too tall so i have a set of BJ74 windows on order from John at Radd Cruisers. Nice guy to deal with and very happy with the switch from my previous supplier of parts.

lexion glass as temp fill ins since i have a wheeling run next weekend.

finished for now till i decide on the paint and get the windows modified to fit the shorter top.

Mitch coming back from the test drive.
