Yep, hoping to get Javelina (and the 40) back on the road next year.
A friend of mine who died unexpectedly earlier in 2013 had a mantra that the world would be a better place if everyone spent at least 10 nights a year sleeping on the ground. Managed to exceed that in the year just ending. Plan to do it again in 2014, hopefully with the majority of those nights in places I haven't been before.

The Trekker is very close to getting me somewhere where I can sleep on the ground. So, I'll probably work on that first. If I have some time and money leftover for the pig (and don't sell it), I'd like to finally fix the steering, remove the locker and swap in some 4.88's, plus 35 inch tires... better stop there.
My "to-do" list is simple, yet seems unattainable.
I would like for Mrs. Delancy to be open and receptive to basic instruction regarding identification of, and commonalities between the following vehicles, all with no animosity:
FJC = FJ Cruiser ( not that this matters, as I don't anticipate it in the stable much longer )
&
(FZJ 80 = 80 = 80 Series Land Cruiser)
=
(LX450 = LX= PP80 = Lexus version of above)
&
FJ40 = 40 = 40 Series Land Cruiser
of which I do not own, &
FJ55 = 55 = 55 Series Land Cruiser = Iron Pig = Pig
&
Lexus GX470 = 120 Land Cruiser Prado (non-US) = her previous chariot
&
Lexus GX460 = 150 Land Cruiser Prado (non-US) = her current chariot
& 100 = LX470, 200 = LX570.
Visually, and at 10 yards, can tell you the brand, source, size, and cut of her attire, can even pick out complete outfits she loves.
Can differentiate between shoe brands, sizes, and can pick out her future favorites....if possible out of 3000000 pairs.
Know every curve of lusciousness, and the brand of yoga attire accentuating, from 100 yards.
So, a goal of 2014 is to achieve this very minor milestone of recognition, even if it's inaccurate, but without the typical response or animosity.

Too funny ... after 10 years of living with my addiction mine can spot any cruiser, but only notes 40s and pigs by name. I figure that's as good as I'm gonna get

after i moved to colorado, my best friend in illinois was at the movie theater and said she managed to embarrass herself by yelling "cruiser" during waynes world 2. there was one in the movie.
