Also, I painted the top white because I kept burning the $#!+ out of my arm!
I would not fill them with foam. That foam attracts and hold water, and water = rust.....

pygpen, i was really considering the cupholder idea but decide to jsut get em done. i almost wish i had done cup holders but thats for another set. i am thinking aobut putting some 6X9s in there but thats later. i started on the pass side one tonight. more pics to come this weekend..... or maybe not its gonna be the same thing. haha. maybe pics soon

You could still french in the cup holders with a hole saw, if you really wanted.
Put some thought into the color of the top....
I like resting my arm on it and even grip that the part where it raises. When it was black, there was no way I could touch it after it was in the sun for a few minutes. I know the white probably looks $#!++y, but form follows function.

well my whole interior is black anyways so its too late now. and form what ive noticed on the fenders that have the same coating, the asphalt coating doesnt heat up as much as paint for some reason. ill find out this week if theyre too hot.
