H4 LED replacement bulbs

any good news on an upgrade of hella h4 lenses to add H4 led bulbs to it

I was looking and slim pickings for a 4300k bulb

Looking for opinions of what u guys used

Would rather not get rid of the lenses ... sentimentality I can’t

It’s one of the earliest mods I did on my cruiser... jcwhitney hella copy bulbs

literally night and day when I put them in going from sealed beams

Can’t part with them yet lol

Pretty sure when I put mine in I remember blowing out the high beam switch & needing to install a relay. I would dig back into it but it wasn't a big improvement anyway

I just put in some Hellas with some LED bulbs from Amazon and a dedicated circuit with relays and so forth... again from Amazon. Check out the link in my signature, I think it's at the top of page 3. I love them! Super bright, yet not blinding to other drivers.

I looked into the LED headlight gig but I don't think they would be conducive with the climate here in The North. Since they don't generate much heat pretty sure they will have a tendency to freeze over

Oh yeah, they totally would. I had some non heated Truck Lites and they froze over here in WA this winter. Have you checked out Daniel Stern’s lighting website? It’s a wonderful resource.
