GX470 wheels to 88 4runner

Does anyone know if 2003 GX470 wheels will work on an 88 4runner without any issues?

Maybe. I seem to recall the center hole might be too small.

I was looking at picking up a set but need to know if they work for sure before I make the drive

They have a known history of corroding and peeling, very common. Lots of complaints to dealers, I know they had to replace a lot of them.
